I am a PhD candidate in the Psychopharmacology in Maastricht research group at the Department of Neuropsychology and Psychopharmacology at Maastricht University. I am from a little village close to Maastricht. I have completed my Bachelor degree in psychology and my research master’s degree in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, with the specialization in Neuropsychology here at Maastricht University. Following my studies, I had the opportunity to work as a research assistant in both London and Amsterdam. I was very happy and excited to move back to Maastricht in 2020 to start my current position under supervision of Dr. Kim Kuypers. My current projects investigate the emotional, cognitive and possible therapeutic effects of low doses of psychedelics in a healthy- and an ADHD population. Further, my research interests include the effects of psychedelics on sleep and well-being, as well as better understanding inter-individual differences in experienced psychedelic effects.
