I am Johannes, a PhD candidate from Germany. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, I came to Maastricht for my Master in Neuropsychology. Following a period working as a research assistant at the University in Maastricht, I started my PhD in 2019. My research is investigating the cognitive mechanisms and therapeutic potential of psychedelics, with a focus on the clinical application of 5-MeO DMT in patients with treatment-resistant depression.
